Bank Staff Teaching Assistant
Location: Stratford-upon-Avon
Pay Rate: £14.40 per hour
Hours: Flexible ad hoc hours available (typically 9:00am–3:30pm or half days 9:00am–12:30pm / 12:00pm–3:30pm)
Smart Education is currently recruiting for Bank Staff Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and supportive special school in Stratford-upon-Avon. The school caters for children and young people aged 3–19 with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Job Requirements:
Level 2 or 3 qualification in Teaching and Learning (or equivalent)
Minimum of 6 months’ experience working in a UK school
Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Positive, patient and adaptable approach
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Role Responsibilities:
Support pupils in their learning and daily routines
Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
Help create a positive and engaging classroom environment
Assist with personal care and sensory or physical needs when required
Encourage independence, resilience and confidence in every child
